We need a government owned bank that does't have built in boom and bust cycles. Probelm is most banks have mostly institutional shareholders, so they are already, basically, government owned. So, both are a problem.

In Islam it is forbidden to loan money at interest, it's haram and yet it's still being done to a certain point. Greed is Lucifer personified. We have collectively removed ourselves so far from God and spirituality that I'm afraid the Judgement Day is nearing. All around me people cheat, steal and lie and yet they consider themselves good and wholesome. Imagine how powerful the unholy one is when down is up and left is right. There is no way this much sin can be simply washed away, when the sinners don't even recognize it.
