A) If the US wanted to "decouple" from the Chinese economy, if would already be doing so.

B) Decoupling the world's (vastly) two largest economies seems both implausible as a goal and also silly.

Considering the relative ease a bio-weapon like this could be deployed, and the low fatality rate of the virus, I find it hard to believe America released it.

A better way to damage their economy would've been to release the virus in factory zones of high production and near Chinese naval areas.

A bio-attack is a totally plausible way to damage an economy. There's just no evidence to support that as the current intent considering the infection sites.
