The broadcast airways are part of the public commons. We own it. We're the landlords, and it's literally given away for free.

It needs to be taken back.

Cable had a public commons counter-argument, because the cable portion of it was privatly owned.

In the WIFI era, the public commons ownership argument is even more important. It could win in the courts/legislatures if it becomes a ballot-box issue; assuming the public is made aware of the issue. Direct referendum states would have an even better chance.

This could be used to derail 5G, as well.

Edit: The same applies to cell towers, etc. All part of the public commons.
