Could also be vice-versa! The CCP may have unleashed this attack upon its own populace to further attack other countries due to foreign travel and business dealings. CCP has attacked its own population before and suppressed a considerable amount of its own culture to achieve ego-political goals... I mean Geo-political goals.

All of this simply proves that the elites want de-population and population control, no matter how low they have to sink in order to achieve their goals! Its the same desperation that they have boxed themselves into from ages ago because they cannot operate on an ethical basis with proper long term understanding with stimulated participation/cooperation. It is the pre-disposed danger of excessive centralized power in human hands and authoritarianism.
