No, absulutely not. All candidates have to make a pledge to Israel, including everyone in congress. Did you not see Netanyahu's speech to US congress, where everyone, republican, democrat independent stood up and cheered for him?

Moxie, there are labour parties in Israel, right? Supporting Zionism does not mean one has to support Netanyahu on every matter or the Likudniks? He still is for a two state solution and has been quite a warmonger in the past.
