Different addictive substances have different effects. This includes coffee, weed, Ayahuasca, sugar.

In the brain you can see that they replace or block certain natural chemicals. So they can make you fake-happy (alcohol) or fake-awake (coffee).

I think that the problem is that these substances pull you into astral spaces that switch off part of your consciousness. These astral spaces may seem great, but are also full with spirits (as in the video). Also religions have astral spaces, and via chanting or praying people get into it. Similar effect, so you see sometimes addicts replacing addiction with religion.

So take care with any one of them.

Its been said that drugs are windows to the path of enlightenment, but not the door and never the path itself.

But speaking of "astral spaces" it is fairly interesting to compare drugs to social media and the causal effects it would have upon consciousness based on the various websites and content within. Virtual space in many ways is attempting to fill astral space with various forces seeking to affect collective consciousness there-upon. Whether this is right, or wrong- I can't be sure, but it could always be done better, if it should be done at all.

Any astral space is parasitic. But we perceive it as nice. In this sense virtual spaces are often connected several astral spaces. You can notice when you are "sucked into" something.

Enlightenment is a very controversial topic, because many people see it different. Here is my view:

Religions, drugs and some new age stuff can get in the way. I see some children as enlightened, as they still radiate happiness and love. So anything that hinders that experience, seems not the correct way.

Too true! Enlightenment is extremely controversial and there is something of a journey in learning about good and evil somewhere in there. At the end of it though the religions, drugs and new age stuff shouldn't really be there, even though it may start out that way in the beginning due to mistakes made.

What do you mean that astral space is parasitic? I see space as a neutral entity, how is it a parasite? Is it because it is an entity nonetheless? Hmm...

Astral spaces are filled with and controlled by entities that are parasitic in nature. There is not, and more importantly, there cannot ever be anything actually good that comes from there.

And interestingly, that is the space to which pot smoking surrenders your being to.

You display a rare understanding of the reality of these matters. I am impressed. Well done.

The conspiracy is that alcohol is popularized and normalized, and everywhere! making millions of people miserable, confused, aggressive, and out of balance in life. It's odd and amazing when people say "I'm never gonna drink again" and then drink again a.s.a.p. WTF! I really have little sympathy or patience for people who drink carcinogens and wonder why they are not healthy or happy! LOL

It’s not a conspiracy. You just don’t understand the world around you.

I just watched the beginning and gave up. Where's why:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcohol#Etymology

The word "alcohol" is from the Arabic kohl (Arabic: الكحل‎, romanized: al-kuḥl), a powder used as an eyeliner.[12] Al- is the Arabic definite article, equivalent to the in English. Alcohol was originally used for the very fine powder produced by the sublimation of the natural mineral stibnite to form antimony trisulfide Sb2S3. It was considered to be the essence or "spirit" of this mineral. It was used as an antiseptic, eyeliner, and cosmetic. The meaning of alcohol was extended to distilled substances in general, and then narrowed to ethanol, when "spirits" was a synonym for hard liquor.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghoul

Ghoul is from the Arabic غُول ghūl, from غَالَ ghāla, "to seize".[2] In Arabic, the term is also sometimes used to describe a greedy or gluttonous individual.

The term was first used in English literature in 1786, in William Beckford's Orientalist novel Vathek,[3] which describes the ghūl of Arabic folklore. This definition of the ghoul has persisted until modern times, with ghouls appearing in popular culture.[4]

So maybe the origin of the word isn't what they make out to be. Yawn. The rest is still 100% valid though.

2 words actually. When they start the video with 2 things that are dead wrong it takes away their credibility.

Say more.

more what?

It's legal in so many places because there's no synthetic (or safer) alternative.

Also: Psychedelics should really be limited to use with a professional. The dangerous aspect of possibly going irreversibly insane has in small part to do with why it's illegal. Shit is like a medication more so than the party drug everybody uses it as. Prolonged use has a high chance of causing symptoms similar to schizophrenia later in life. Re-wiring the brain repeatedly is not as healthy as they make it out to be. The increase in intelligence they brag about has a stupid low chance of happening and isn't permanent.

Meanwhile, you need a shit ton of alcohol over a long period of time to cause the damage they're talking about. The occasional beer or sip of wine isn't gonna kill you by itself. If you have to drink it everyday you have an addiction, but banning the stuff because a few people like it too much is absurd.

Oooooh no! “Sexual promiscuity.” Sex is power. Shutting down people’s sex is what major religions — like Islam — do in order to control and subjugate them.

I’m 15, but i’m not gonna drink any alcohol when I’m old enough. I’m gonna join the army and go to grad-school, so I can’t have any of that shit in me.

So you will become a killer for pay. Such a noble calling, that's impressive.

Organized crime also has well-paid positions for hitmen. If you are going to become a killer, know that the private sector has much better pay and much less "you are killing people for the good" bullshit.

The word alcohol comes from the Arabic "al-khul" which means "body eating spirit
