Use of the words "war" and "insurgency" and "unwitting crowds" are terrific headspins. Accuse your victim of the crime you do; their desperacy to deny it will give you more and more ammunition. In my circles, vaccine skeptics are constantly under fire by the "unwitting" majority, while this paper gives the impression that skeptics are counting down to the 5th of November, rather than making a simple personal health choice, and speaking out against a heavily controlled narrative. Furthermore, I notice skeptics are far less likely to attack people's character or intelligence, and are generally more likely to provide personal anecdotes and compelling, diversely sourced research than the herds of pincushion people.

I only skimmed the paper, but it's crow calling kettle black. The fact they sort of say "Not that narrative, but this narrative" suggests that the desired baseline is not truth, but a narrative. I also didn't see in the paper any supposition about the reason for the rise in vax-skepticism this year - it was because of the centralized, broadcasted push over the spring and summer to terrify people into a corner where they will give up their body autonomy to make the fear go away. It's a reactionary movement to a heavy-handed policy pattern.

I agree. More people should be aware of this scare tactic.

I think it's a very reasonable movement. Who really knows what's in these vaccinations? The Catholic Church in Kenya was advising against the using the tetanus vaccine, because the vaccine contained antigens that with truck the immune response into will rendering a woman sterile.

They were only recommending the vaccine for women between the ages of 14 and 49. This is unbelievably specific, and clearly not an accident.

There is a really simple explanation for this. Normies dont care about debate itself, they care about being right. So while conspiracy nutjobs are trying to prove that they are in fact not nuts, normies just being righteous.

I've noticed this trend while i was observing holywars on reddit. When arguing with an "alt right" crowd normies usually would use emotional manipulation instead of arguments, because for them its more important to look righteous and moral. So even if they where technically right about some topics, they usually couldnt prove that cause they didnt know why exactly they where right. They just knew that their point of view is right and had some vague understanding of why this point of view is right, but they never bothered to learn all the details.

Worth saving as more mind-control tactics are applied during the run-up to the election-impeachment season. Everyone should study this as an illustration of the 'headspins' mentioned by u/hhxrx.

Agreed. Please see my comment to u/hhxrx. For a reasonable reason to distrust vaccinations.

An oppositional research paper on the growth of grassroots propaganda resistance networks; particularly those who are concerned about vaccine safety.
