I know this can be compared to restrictions of the press in other countries, but in this case it's a temporary measure, to 'combat' Russian misinformation. All countries at war have always tried to limit their opposition's misinformation campaigns. It's part of warfare. This would not happen in peace time, and will end if and when the war ends. It's a necessary move, and more important now that information wars are so wide-spread.
