i can understand your way of thinking, but i think that when its iligal for people to cary guns-and you can go to jail for it-most people think twices and more and more people will not take 1 with them, and the maniacs who do so are more easy to pick out for police, but also for civilians+when ever has bystander with a gun stopt a maniak who went on a killing-streak?i never heard of it....but maybe im wrong..........but the opportunity for some1 to grap a gun can be the reason for people getting killed, could be a child who graps it for curiosity or some person who dosnt has his emotions under controle.........i do know im happy to live in a country were its illigal to have guns

Practically, if someone is willing to actually kill people, you cannot stop them with a rule that says carrying guns in public is illegal. They will just hide the gun until they reach the crime spot.
