Over the weekend, President Biden declared “journalism is not a crime” at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, a statement that rings hollow as his Justice Department is seeking the extradition of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange for exposing US war crimes.

Well, when he says "journalism", he specifically means a corporate shill wearing a pin that says "I'M A REPORTER!", who's giving him a rusty trombone. Anybody else doesn't get that label from him.

Journalism is not a crime so biden was truthful and correct to say it.

But when Assange provided remote assistance and direction on hacking American government data - that's the illegal thing.

Actually Assange could have exposed any secrets he wanted, lots of journalists do that and it's not a crime, just like Biden said.

Damn if only he hadn't raped a woman, and helped hack America, and gotten himself thrown out the embassy. Then he'd still banging groupies in Europe and abandoning his children with them. He'd be simping for ruzzia with Kim dotcom right now
