Some of us remember the Ukraine mess back then and the reporting on it. I remember no one believed the coup was a real public revolution, especially thanks to the foreign snipers and the fake on-the-ground media reporting. The EU was pretty openly against getting involved, then. Now, they seem to grovel at the US's corrupt desires like scared bitches.
The Guardian used to be a hard hitting and respectable news outlet, but now is just another megaphone repeating the same lies as everyone else.
That change in 2014/15 seems the singular time when everything changed. Our DOJ tuned partisan, our news media turned partisan, our politicians turned insane extremest., and all social media became a single voice censorship machine. That wast when Reddit began its partnership with Hillary's Correct The Record (CTR), that replaced all moderator positions, and went into full one-sided election censorship mode. Not long later, CTR was revealed to have spent millions on social media troll farms to manipulate them, in court proceedings.
