The justification for the ban on images is so retarded. "Muhammad was a man ... Creating statues and pictures of that man can lead people to see in a man something more than he was".

This chick posts her selfies on Instagram all the time along with millions of others and nobody thinks they're anything special. There are thousands of historical portraits of people and nobody thinks they were more than men and women.

It's nonsense. You don't have to respect nonsense.
