I know what the corporate media would have us believe.

I haven't been to Mexico in about 15 years.

A place not being rich doesn't make it a bad place.

I've heard that besides the cartels that you stay clear of, just like our zillions of first world problems, Mexico is statistically safer than Canada and the USA.

There could be zillions of factors that make that true - or maybe my sources are bunk.

LOL - ZeroHedge is obviously among the top 5 or 10 disinformation and misinformation websites.

It was honored here on Saidit monghs ago: https://saidit.net/s/ShitpostNews/comments/8l32/zerohedge_farright_propaganda_and_misinformation/

Read the links there. Note that very few - perhaps only 5 or 10 - websites get a 'low' rating on the 'factual reporting' pyramid here: https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/zero-hedge .

It's OBVIOUSLY a Bulgarian right-wing conspiracy/pseudoscience disinformation and misinformation propaganda website. They are literally traitors.

Anyone using Twitter is part of the problem.

in that article, it says that almost five million people have crossed the united states border illegally.

i find that difficult to believe.

that is more people than there are in houston.

i have spoken with an exwife of mine and she is in a border town and she would love to cross over... but she is still in mexico.. she assures me that the border is operating just like it always was.

    so much bullshit.

Yeah I must say those numbers seem suspect. I'd like to see proof of that claim.

Still the suspension for "promoting hate" is obviously bullshit. Is it promoting hate to give bad numbers? 5 billion Americans say no.

Trans women are not cis women.

You want to look at the long history of failed rapture predictions you need to look back over the last 2,000 years.

Every generation of christians has had people who believed this since back to when Jesus himself walked the earth. They are so egotistical to think that they are special and must be right, yet they have all died believing that Jesus would certainly return in their lifetime and the signs were right.

They believed in false signs. Clearly led astray. It is common for children to be oblivious to the evil in the world and become despondent upon learning about it, but the evil is not new, it was always there. And there is certainly nothing biblical to the idea that there will be a technological revolution before the end times unless you stretch so much you become a contortionist.

There were trans people around when I was a kid they were just shunned and didn't have the ability to meet with other people like them. Until college, then some of them would get together and you'd spot them.

I can't say I've met many, they usually hang out around gay circles, I've been aquatinted with a couple but not well, I usually find their personalities to be somewhat abrasive and I'm not interested in pursuing friendship. But I can't say I've found anyone who has crossed the line IRL. Maybe things are worse now as I've been off planet for a few years, but I think the internet really makes things seem far worse than it really is. That's usually what happens to planets after they make a global communications network like the internet. Within a century or so what used to be fringe movements nobody was aware of suddenly find themselves and grow far faster than their own underlying ideological basis can stabilize and the rest of society is blindsided and doesn't know how to deal with it. Just be glad you guys developed nukes before the internet lol.

Christianity is obviously nonsense. Shitlibs are bad because they are like Christians, not because they're different.

You'll have to hitch on from somewhere near the core, I'm heading towards Sagittarius A* first to dump the blackwater.
