    I don't think it's fair to say "it shows his true colors". Up until around 10y ago, Chomsky has been remarkably consistent in his beliefs. And he was never an "ends justify the means" guy. Up until around 2010, there were only 2 things I fundamentally disagreed with him: 1) Intentions playno role in the moral evaluation and justifiability of intervening action; only consequences do. And 2) Complete contractual freedom, as proposed by Nozick, will inevitably lead to neo-feudalism and complete tyranny.

    From 2010 onwards, Chomsky's cognitive decline started becoming more and more apparent. Nowadays, his opinions range from self-contradicting to downright absurd.
