brave search; https://search.brave.com/ and I just recently found out about https://www.resulthunter.com/ which is supposed to be a conservative made search engine.

I've been using Qwant.com - I like it

I've been using https://www.qwant.com for a while. Seems good.

I stopped using it after they removed LibGen bang. I switched to Searx, which also removed it but it's a free software which you can self-host, so I just modified it to support LibGen.

In my long term, but vague, observation, DuckDuckGo's search result quality has very seriously nose dived in the last few years.
