Thank god Twitter is finally putting a stop to malicious disinformation against billion dollar corporations. Good thing the economy is a system that is so well understood that we can just know for sure what is or isn’t the root cause of “soaring” US inflation.

Thing is, we do know what caused the inflation, and it isn't the corporations, even if they are taking advantage of it.

The supply chain problems reduced the supply of goods, and then Biden flushed the economy with borrowed cash increasing the demand for goods that were already scarce, causing prices to spike. This is Macroeconomics 101. These corporations simply take advantage of the already existing inflation to increase profit, they can't cause it on their own without a supply chain crisis and irresponsible cash printing
