Discussing opposing viewpoints civilly and respectfully without the the expectation of persuading the audience is a lost art.

IMHO trolls from both sides are the problem, once the discussion turns into hate speech we all loose.. No point is valid.. I agree with you, I wonder how many people can carry out a civil conversation.. Small communities like SaidIt are a good start I think..
