Every tech competitor is immediately labeled harmful and racist.

What competitors? SV tech companies all conspire with each other to enforce an ideological hegemony.

What's worse is they don't even need to conspire. The political homogeneity is refined to the point that they'll arrive at comparable positions even if they don't conspire with each other. Anybody who isn't on the identitarian crazy train must either go along with or risk being excluded. The California cult will react in unison because they all either think the same way or fear being ostracised for not toeing the party line.

But they do conspire, they are all part of the same discord channels or mailing lists and they do talk to each other.

Sure, I expect there's side-channel communication, whether at the top or at lower levels. For example, HR people are not allowed to disclose that a person was fired, or why they were fired. That doesn't stop them from talking off the record to other HR people they know in other companies. The point is, this collusion isn't even necessary. The people who control corporate America are either thinking the same or they know how to behave so they won't be othered by their peers. They don't need to collude once one of them denounces a person or a group. The rest know to follow suit.
