AIG doesn't want your business, so don't give it to 'em. Choose an alternative and let them eat their losses.

...lol, though the government will likely just bail them out with your money but without your consent.

乔*拜登是最高领袖 我爱中国。

translation: Joe Biden is the supreme leader. I love China.

Wow the name Biden in Chinese "拜登" literally translates to "worship (拜) pressing down with the foot (登)".

There is a big difference between a government mandate and individual choice.

Every government run healthcare system has a private system running along side it. There's always choice.

It seems we've arrived at a point of total corporate tyranny. Aka corporatism. Aka fascism.

It's so obvious you're a dumb kid from all of your comments. Not simply your political leanings, but just outing yourself as having no knowledge of adult things, like say, insurance.

Conservatives use insurance, just like progressives do. I can't even imagine what if anything is going on in your brain that you think otherwise.

I thought you wanted to deregulate business? The right is fucking bipolar lately.

Seems like the two groups switched sides. All the authoritarian karens became leftists, all the people who fear corporations went right. It's strange.

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

By karen you mean calling the cops on black people over nothing? That is not a leftist project.

They were democrats. That's a good reason, right?

[–]BigFatRetard 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Don't worry, they'll happily cancel black people. They go where the power goes.

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The American left needs black people more than the GOP needs rich people. That says a lot.

Inverting everything to make the populace feel like hypocrites to even themselves.

Causing doubt, fear, and confusion. Making people easier to manipulate by convincing them they don't really stand for anything other than what their party current is saying that day.

That isn't the only plausible solution. If enough people are principled and informed, they will object to the actions of such companies and vote with their wallets. If there is no alternative, then absolutely yes this is an indictment of whatever passes for capitalism these days, and people should consider alternatives.

From an insurance forum discussion about it -

" He is a political commentator. This is a professional liability policy that was dropped. The whole job (risk to the insurer) of a political commentator is what that person says. It was a legal, free market business decision. Either we are a free market or we arent. "

Reading that, him getting dropped makes more sense. It also explains why it was a joint decision from the marketing team and an underwriting team.

Still seems biased, though. Does AIG also drop socialist political commentators?
