That's how Trump got elected. He was the conduit for the voice of the unheard, or so many of his voters believe. Same with Obama.

yep trump and obama are two sides of the coin

Now Obama didn't really say much, hope and change was nebulous, but people figured a muslim black guy with a name like Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein couldn't turn out to be a conservadem, he had to be a far left socialist. Foxnews and many rw politicians said he was. People hoped that was true and voted for him. That is like how people liked what Trump said in 2015-2016 and hoped he was telling the truth so voted for him.
