LOL. I thought you were talking to me, with much longer hair, a longer than Santa white beard, and a cat on my lap and one in the other room.

I've considered stepping in front of the video camera but I feel like I'd need a hook and a better wardrobe.

Yes, that's my point. I'm sure among the poster's peers he a cool cat, but to reach a broad audience on the tube, and be taken seriously, you actually have to try and portray an image your watchers can identify with. I have a few friends with cats but they don't sit them on their lap stroking them when we talk together. Actually it's usually me trying to to lure the cat up lol.

I agree and disagree. To reach people you need to conform. Nonconformists and people free of stereotype limits don't require superficial conformity. Those are the people who will listen to nonconformist ideas more. Unfortunately IMO, he's needs to be more nonconformist with more conspiracy truth-seeking.

Here's a million dollar idea: Find an attractive talented repeater bimbo in a suit and skirt, get good makeup and lighting, maybe add some CG images in the corner to illustrate, and have her simply re-read everything Styx says. Publish this "Styx-Repackaged" content aimed for the normies. Cash in big time.

Oh yes, sex sells. Some of the bigger alternate video producers employ attractive women, I see it on political stuff especially. Reading is so different from watching vids. When you read you, or at least this is my experience, you take in a hell of a lot more of the meaning. In a vid you are distracted by the vision element which often ads nothing to the content, charts etc aside. Vids are useful when the 'star' is a known quantity and people will be presupposed to believe the material just because ahead the trust is talking to them.
