I don't even believe "the scientists" anymore. It's Benn like this for a long while now. Look how they treated Tesla!

You should have said "nikola tesla". When I read you comment I thought they were censoring musk and his company. Which would be a good thing btw!

Glad you understood anyway.... And what about Ben Franklin. Had anyone ever duplicated the kite and key experiment successfully? I don't believe so, and we know what that means....

No actually, I have never looked into it. I though it was part history part myth. Like johnee appleseed.

Journals that publish bad science, or censor good science should named, shunned, and discredited. Any organization that rewards these charlatans should equally be held accountable. Why is it so hard for people who seek the truth to organize?

Isn't censoring bad science still... censorship?

🤔 that is a good point. But anyone with an agenda can flood any topic with bogus data and make it impossible for people to figure out what is true.

People who seek truth, value truth. They would want to defend their truth from those who challenge it. From other people that value truth.

People who seek truth, are natural enemies.

That's not how it works. The idea that there is no absolute truth is convoluted nonsense. Those who truly seek truth should have no problem reasoning with each other even when there is no concrete prove either way.

There is no such thing as "my truth" or "your truth". There is the truth and bullshit.

A name that can be named is not the eternal name.

The problem isn't the truth. The problem is the words. Every word we can use, is anchored either to another word, or to our personal experience. Every event happens in slightly different environment, every observer would have slight differences in how the perception works, can't enter one river twice. The definitions of our words, are doomed to be different. Of cause, with simpler things, you can just send your fellow truth seeker flying headfirst into the truth. But not all things are simple.

Without desires, observe the subtle. Filled with desires, observe the boundaries.

The second problem, is that we don't think by connecting words. Words can direct our thinking, but they can't produce it. We use data (words uttered in the mind bring connected data) to shape the emptiness created by our brains, and this empty opportunity in the mind, like everywhere, allows the corresponding thought to come. When we try to describe our thinking process with words, it's always only a guess. Our own rationalizations, sadly, tend to sound reasonable. Great minds think alike, especially when it's your own mind.

Of cause, as long as all participants stay reasonable, compassionate and levelheaded, all these problems can be overcome. Which is exactly what the passionate people have troubles with. And truth seekers are bond to be passionate about the truth.

Humanity has turned to shit. They don't deserve science or engineering or even food for that matter.
