Twitter is getting out of control and badly needs a reality check. Also FBI Book.

Why? Twitter is a private company and has no obligation to allow anyone to access their platform.

Because they receive protections under Section 230 for being an information service provider. They basically can't be sued because of things said on their service. When they start limiting information they are no longer a service provider and should lose that protection. They do what they want as a private company but we don't have to give them any sort of protection.
