The library made a commitment this year to “become an actively anti-racist organisation” by taking “all the necessary steps”.

Given that this has been the status quo for practically all businesses and institutions for decades, this seems a bit suspicious. Kind of like a guy who feels the need to proudly proclaim his commitment to not rape women.

Anti-racism isn't the same as not being racist.
