Many young people really believe all bad things in the world are due to the evil, rich, old, white men at the top of society and if only those few people were nicer and behaved better we'd all live in utopia.

So if they put in requests to their scary boss daddies and then those gatekeepers comply they see that as saving the world one battle at a time not ... completely normal corporate behaviour.
