No other choice. Facebook is a de facto monopoly. That's why it needs to be broken up, to create competition. And I say this as a usual opponent of over-regulation. That and Microsoft in the 1990s. Of course, Microsoft got out of it after their candidate won in 2000.

There would be a choice if people would just leave. Most people are drones who won't do that. The sites are out there but people just don't use it. Not sure whose fault it is. Facebook isn't a monopoly at all.

Other companies literally have tried and failed. Google made a good attempt at it, then there was Gabs and Minds. No one used it, so it was pointless to go.

Facebook is the number 1 supplier of conservative propaganda.
