So tired of the study worshipers. Nobody reads past the Abstract or actually understands any of these things anyways.

And even if people do accept the "findings" as valid they just explain it away with some excuse anyways. We have a Chinese doctor directly related to COVID19 and she's whistleblowing and half of the population is just handwaving it away as some Alex Jones conspiracy theory.

Nobody cares about science nobody cares about facts. It's about propaganda and ideology.

So your two qualifiers are "chinese", and "doctor". First off, she's from Hong Kong. Not China. Second off, if this were just a fucking doctor everyone should dismiss this shit. Doctors don't analyze viruses looking for clues like this.

Finally, the fact that this "study" comes from an org run by a a former Trump advisor that has never published a study matters. So does the fact that this person is neither "Chinese" nor a doctor, yet you casually assert that they are both.

Hong Kong considers themselves separate from China, and a lot of people from Hong Kong hate China. That matters especially in this context, where you have the study's author accusing China of manufacturing the virus. I was taking him at his word that this person was a doctor (i.e. not a scientist), but I shouldn't have made that assumption.

There have already been many separate studies into the origins of SARS-CoV-2 and they all show no evidence that it was made in a lab. You have this one isolated study that contradicts the others and is suggesting a conspiracy, and it came from a group that has never released a study before and chaired by Steve Bannon. In acting like this is supposed to be compelling despite all the other evidence on the subject, the one doing the cherry picking is you.

Again, she's Chinese. I also find it a little ironic that the second it's Hong Kong "science" accusing the Chinese (of which they both are) of doing something then suddenly you have no problem grasping the idea that there might be corruption. I find that very charming.

Nice deflection on the point that she is not in fact a whistleblower like you claimed. Also, you seem to have a short-term memory, so I will remind you: The theory that it could be man made was proposed several months ago, and there have already been several studies investigating the origins of SARS-CoV-2, and they all concluded that it isn't man made. This "study" doesn't override those without compelling evidence. That's not how science works.
