I don't think people do this just because they have it so good.

They do it because everyone has it so good that the powerful have to find a way to stop smart, hard working people rising up the class system and kicking them and their kids down the ladder. That method is often the enforcement of extremely complex, nonsensical etiquette, the kind you need to be trained from birth to do properly. It's about entrenching power. It brings about social collapse because they end up shutting out the best and brightest in favour of connected people who can spout the most fashionable bullshit.

What a pack of lies. The rulers regularly recruit bright people from the lower classes. You're in some pre French revolution fantasy world. Etiquette? Like what? There are no courtly manners to be followed.

Woke ideology teaches us that being smart is false because IQ tests are a lie and that hard work is a racist value.

These people can't see how good things are today and only see we are blackest evil. Facts and logic are tools of oppression and Enlightenment thought must be destroyed.

"Etiquette? Like what? There are no courtly manners to be followed."

What do you think repeating woke mantras, admitting your privilege, issuing grovelling apologies when flamed, promising to do better, is? This isn't normal behaviour. It's a performance. It's ritual.

Exactly. "Etiquette" is a perfect way to describe the rigors and speech requirements that political correctness demands.
