I'm mostly using duckduckgo but I think all the search engines are censored and corrupt. There are some things I can't find in any of them.

I agree. And I just recently realized that duckduckgo is just a skin for bing. Search anything in bing and then in duckduckgo and you'll see they're the same results.

You can even add !g to any duckduckgo search and then it becomes a skin for google.

Yeah. Makes all the fuss about duckduckgo seem rather silly, doesn't it?

Not entirely true. For example, search "conspiracy" on both. Duckduckgo returns: merriam-webster.com, dictionary.com, reddit.com and wikipedia.com in that order as the top 4 results. Bing on the other hand returns: dictionary.com, merriam-webster.com, imdb.com, and thefreedictionary.com as the top 4 results.

They get their results from over 400 sources, Bing being one of them. The reality of the internet is also, that regardless of which engine you use, the top page of results will likely be very similar as all the crawlers are using the same source material.

searx.me qwant.com duckduckgo.com startpage.com

Sometimes you have to use more than one, but between the 4 of them you're sure to get what you're looking for and relatively privately.
