"Ripple Labs. (Ripple invested heavily in Tron)"

I forget the details but do remember that Ripple MUST NOT be trusted.

"His last creation is Tron, a "blockchain-based decentralized protocol that aims to construct a worldwide free content entertainment system with the blockchain and distributed storage technology. The protocol allows each user to freely publish, store and own data, and in the decentralized autonomous form, decides the distribution, subscription and push of contents and enables content creators by releasing, circulating and dealing with digital assets, thus forming a decentralized content entertainment ecosystem." (Definition from tronlab.com)."

Actually sounds good. I'm waiting for the catch(es).

"Pretty convincing huh?"

Oh, man. Selling it way too hard. Turned off.

In the comments:
"Waiting for March 31st Testnet Launch!!"

Curious.

So much for "uncensored" blockchain that is not decentralized.

I'm happy there are alternatives for Steemit.

"Witness, Ex-employees, content creators are finding their content removed on the Steemit. The most used interface for the #Steem blockchain.

Posts relating to the #hive blockchain, a steem hard fork that has recently gain the support of a majority of the community as well as support of Huobi and Binance, has all been removed from the website."

You can give all your old useless Steem to https://steemit.com/@jasoncarswell

Also YouTube just censored virus-skeptic Nerdrotic : https://youtu.be/jjVsjSMeRs4?t=7714

The steam community is gonna fix it... they're forking onto a new blockchain, hive not tron. or some crazy shit, it's wild.

It sounds exciting indeed!

Though I don't know how they have access to the blockchain, etc. And if they can't access the central Steemit site then the censorship will remain. But I wouldn't be surprised if a bunch of Steemit clones, hopefully decentralized, popped up - blooming fungis free of censorship.

However I do know that they left themselves open - which is how I suspect the Hive can meddle with the Steemit. Besides trading for Steemit as a currency there are many Steemit community sites out there that have tapped into the whole thing. For example, you can chat to other steemit folks about developing your content etc. Mostly it's just another avenue to promote yourself - "look at me and my thing and gimme votes and maybe compliments". It's a weird culture when rewards are introduced, and of course the fringes get weirder.

You're right, the central steemit.com site is owned by the old crew. So the people that want to leave have to convince everyone on steemit.com to use a different domain instead, that will be using the new non-Tron blockchain or whatever. Meanwhile steemit.com is censoring people from having these conversations and discussing leaving. It's a trip, they (steemit.com) checked specific usernames into the code base to ban/censor them. I'm way out of the loop, but it's some hot drama so I'm trying to somewhat keep up.

Trying times are times for trying. I hope they try/embrace/build decentralization alternatives, and I hope you might post in that sub if/when you catch news on that.

Maybe, just maybe, there's something to learn/apply for the SaidItQuid currency, if/when you embrace/embed it.

All part of the global Pandemic Corona Virus Drill. I'm writing a piece on it and will show everyone with certainty that they are following a script laid out to them.

Steemit is owned by a bunch of doll collecting losers. Many of them have connections to intel. and tech. censorship compnaies and organizations including the ADL.

You ever notice that all subsaidits are moderated by the main and only admin? This is a recipe for internet fascism

[–]FormosaOolong 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

Not when that admin has infinite patience and tolerance for ideas, thoughts, and expressions he does not even remotely agree with. His commitment to free expression is noteworthy and enviable.

It's not infinite, but it's more than good.

Actually, /u/d3rr is an admin too. M3D7 benevolently rule this universe.
