I think the author of this article jumps to an erroneous conclusion based on a few innocuous comments by Zuckerberg.

By asking for clarity on government's expectation, won't that force them to debate what exactly is acceptable censorship? Better that than governments simply criticizing and threatening social media over comments of others which they should not be responsible. And it's a business reality that Facebook has to deal with these governments, who pressure them to serve as their censor.

I don't know much about Zuckerberg nor do I use Facebook, but I appreciate his stance against censorship. He says he's uncomfortable with the ever-growing list of forbidden words — I am, too.

Zuckerberg probably deserves more credit for resisting government and the politically-correct.
