Its bullshit that they have quarantined r/The_Donald, I get it that the people running Reddit are hard leftists, but its still a pretty bush league thing to do just because you dont LIKE the other party.

I don't think most are actually hard leftists. The Democrats are far from leftists.

Legit leftists are equally unwelcome at Reddit, probably moreso.

Regardless, it's a low-budget cowardly move.

When you're on the hard left, anyone to the right of Mao Zedong looks like a nazi to you.

It's not that Reddit is leftist - of course it is. It's that it's not far enough left for the hard left.

I do appreciate the irony of people who ruthlessly use censorship as a weapon of first resort being censored, though. And then having the nerve to complain that they're being censored without a hint of self-awareness. That's pretty sweet.

Reddit is a corporate left. It does not support any antiwar sentiment - whether that's Bernie Sanders or Ron Paul types.

Reddit is a corporate left.

You make a great point. This is probably the most accurate description. Which is antithetical to classical liberalism.

Reddit is like a cyborg. Half-human users with frenetic input, and the other half is comprised of shills and bots who pander to (various govts, military, Wall st., large corporations, etc.).

At this point, it's mostly a robot.
