I love that razor, I have the S2 with a kronos handle. Bought it in 2015, still looks like new. That thing will outlast me by a long shot. Works amazing. There is a bit of a learning curve to it, but my skin is easily irritated, safety razors with their single blade I can control the angle of is what works best for me, besides just keeping a beard.

It can also remove my beard easily. Really cool tool. Pricey, but considering how long it lasts, it saves money over buying Mach 3s.

Thanks for the info. The blade gap comparison is interesting. One of the images indicates that they're manufactured in the US, but I cannot confirm this. I might get the shiny stainless Windsor version.

I think it's just one guy, I've talked to him. Stan Hickam. Made in the US with US steel. But there's a lot of nice safety razors out these days, check out https://www.ikonrazors.com/ and https://maggardrazors.com/ too.
