What's the currently leader in safe communications platforms right now Jason? If I had a team of philosopher chads that wanted to communicate privately where should I host them?

I can't speak to "safe communications" as I'm not a security expert.

From my recent ad my big goals (via baby steps):

  • SnapRAID auto-backup everything. [installed, needs configuring]
  • Setup decentralized platforms Movim (like Facebook & Messenger), NextCloud, Lemmy (like Reddit), YaCy (search), PeerTube (like YouTube), OAuth (a single login across all platforms), an image gallery, web-archiving, etc.
  • Torrent, IPFS, TOR, ZeroNet, etc.
  • Tweak stuff, bridge platforms, custom code, etc.
  • Draft tutorials, spread know-how, setup more instances around Windsor and the world.

IMO this is WHAT WE ALL NEED (not just want) to survive the technocracy, though I understand some can't/won't.

The goal is to set this up, then help others set this up too - and of course to spread it all around so it will be harder to take all of us down rather than a single point of failure.

I've tried to find help on Saddit. I'm going to find help elsewhere and find/raise funds to pay an I.T. guy or few to set them up - maybe for many folks.

I may be the first one in my communities, but it can't just be about me. I can lead you to water and break the ice, but I can't make you think and communicate.
