The House of Commons passed a motion to approve the measures under the act Monday evening, with the NDP voting in favour alongside the minority Liberal government.

Fuck all of these Hitlers. Whoever voted for them should be banned from voting.

Personally, I feel that our election system broke down more than a decade ago and they're all a sham.

Explain. When did this start to happen?

"After the 2008 federal election, in which the Conservative Party won a larger minority, Harper passed the Economic Action Plan in response to the financial crisis of 2007–2008, prorogued Parliament to defeat a non-confidence motion by a potential coalition of opposition parties and ordered military intervention during the First Libyan Civil War. The 40th Canadian Parliament was eventually dissolved in March 2011, after another no-confidence vote that found his government to be in contempt of Parliament. In the federal election, the Conservatives won a majority government."

I remember these events quite clearly. Everybody HATED this Prime Minister who was trying to turn Canada into a warmongering nation. That's part of why there was this vote of no-confidence and his government was found to be in contempt of Parliament but especially, of the will of the people.

This is a career-ending situation for any politician. And yet, supposedly his party won a majority, something he had never been able to achieve before? I remember the looks of astonishment, dismay and surprise by... EVERYBODY. Online, offline, on the air, off the air, in print, EVERYWHERE.

To me, this clearly demonstrated there was something seriously wrong with our "democracy". There were more instances after that, but this was to me the point at which "voting" became very, very suspicious.

Do you think election fraud took place?

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (4 children)

I think it is extremely likely, yes. And every single time since then.

You're delusional.

In that very self-same article on wikipedia of all places, they report how that government and many others used illegal trickery and other ploys to change the voting outcome. So they're already doing heaps of illegal electoral tampering BUT NOT outright fraud?

OK, please explain why and how they do one and not the other. Preferrably without ad hominems, please.

Elections are rigged. He was installed illegally. They cheated.

In the past they didn't need to cheat because Canadians are retards and voted liberals. Although all parties belong to the banking elites. So democracy was always an illusion.

The elections weren't rigged. The first-past-the-post system allowed them to secure a minority government with less votes than the conservatives. Not rigged, just a shitty system. Trudeau actually campaigned on election reform the last time, but he realized it would hurt his party so he broke his word as usual. Also he's a piece of shit.

Papa Klaus said: "My little Juju, you are too eager. Our totalitarian communist tyrannical wet dream does not come through high stakes political wrangling such as trying to shove war measures through, because of peaceful dissent. It comes through financial and administrative fiat. No new law will be required, only our CBDC project. Do not risk all the progress you did on my behalf."
