I'm no fan of the protests, but this is massively disproportionate governmental overreach, and a very dangerous precedent.

The Canadians are going to do a run on the banks. This is almost reminiscent of Kristallnacht and will be a turning point for Canada and their clown PM.

That plan isn't going to work. A run on banks isn't the same mechanic it was in the 1930s. Everyone uses bank cards, so a lack of paper (well, plastic) money is meaningless when there's still a store of ones and zeroes on your plastic. Also, the polls are saying a supposed majority of Canadians are in favour of this draconian law being implemented. At the very least, we rarely mobilize en masse against the government in this country, and even though Trudeau is being a massive asshole, this is not one of those times.

The strategy should be to lose him the next election.

Yea, well after those ones and zeroes on your plastic have been erased it's too late to pull cash out of the bank. People need to pull their cash out before they erase their ones and zeroes.

I'm not trying to tell you if you're wrong or right. I'm just telling you how it looks from the ground.

I'm telling you to withdraw some cash. Justin Case. If nothing happens then fine. If something happens then you have cash.

Fair enough. Prudence is certainly in short supply in this environment. Cheers, mate!
