They think if they don't report on it nobody will know it happened. Unless they were on the highway and couldn't get home for 12 hours.

Only the thousands of Luddite Boomers won't know it happened. But they actually vote and have bought into the fear porn, so...

Most of us boomers are far from Luddites. We see what is going on and we are extremely concerned for our grandchildren. Just because we bought our homes for $40K back in the 1980's and now they are worth $350,000 doesn't make us the boogie man.

Many are and many aren't. My parents are/were not Luddites but they are/were pretty useless with tech, as many of their gen are - more than later generations who also have their non-geeky types. In no way am I demonizing anyone who who does or does not have a flair with tech, nor criticizing the people trapped in the matrix of rigged systems that now denies future generations the investment opportunities their parents and grandparents had. I could blame them for not resisting and going along with the system to bring us to this point - but that's not fair and it's so much more complex that that. If that were the case, we should all be omnipotent and all be resisting 1000% since the day we were born and anything less is shameful - but that's hardly realistic.

You seem like an awesome grandpa.

Mine just died a couple weeks ago. Dude was in his 90s and it was pretty merciful. He died broke as fuck with the kids paying his bills.

My parents, dealing with this, already made their own arrangements, knowing us kids couldn't afford it.

But what of my generation, we're getting old. It's going to be a mess.

and now they are worth $350,000

Still a bit jelly ngl.
