" It's come to my attention that several staff have been dismissed 'with cause' at WRH. Given that the trial data used to justify Interim Use Authorization at the federal level explicitly did not study or examine transmission benefit (or lack thereof), as a member of the lay public, I am curious as to the justification to defense that these dismissals were 'for cause'. While I am you have your own legal counsel, this is in direct opposition to the claims made by the Samfiru and Tamarkin firm, well laid out here:

While a vaccination policy has been mandated by the state, no explicit requirement in lieu of educational seminars and testing was mandated via Directive 6 except for Long Term Care Home Staff. As such, I am genuinely confused as to the assertion that these terminations and/or indefinite leave periods are justified with cause.

Lastly, given that over 50+ staff were terminated, I am very curious as to why the proper notice period of eight weeks vis-a-vis mass layoffs as laid out in the ESA have not seemingly been adhered to.

... they have neutered the information regarding mass termination rules on Ontario's website

Because they just changed the rules for mass termination. They have made it harder to find.

Regardless, they broke mass termination rules, What was confusing me is this portion:

The WRH is not no longer operating, so the rules still apply.
