SaidIt is full of spam. There are pharma ads on the front page too. I always report it. Have you tried that?

Depending on your preferences s/home/ might only show you subscribed subs. If you browse s/all/new the spam episodes stand out more.

It happens. I just removed them and banned the relevant users

Also don't forget to post the spammers in /s/saiditCleanup. Monday (morning for me) from 0800 till about 1500 they spam a lot.

I'm glad you brought this up. I read "new" because the main page doesn't refresh often enough; and I've been seeing so much advertising, not just in self.business but many other subs as well, that I thought it was an understood thing!

I'll put in some time reporting from now on. Can't hurt.

Well, thank you for removing those ones I reported! They began to appear in s/business some while ago, and I paid little attention, thinking "Maybe this is one of the purposes of the sub" ... but when they began to appear in really unlikely subs, I started to report; then I couldn't understand why other people hadn't reported them already, so I left off. Then the other day, someone complained and I realized I was looking at an actual transgression. So good- now I won't be wondering if I have any right to bitch. (grin)
