I do tend to prefer male bosses, but I'm not so sure it works like you are saying. I had a boss who was a woman who was brilliant, she has a PhD, and I didn't have any problems taking orders from her because I generally trusted when she told me to do something a certain way, that she knew better than me, and she usually did. I have also had male bosses who did not know better than me, and I very much resented taking orders from them for that reason.

I think the real problem is that women are often being put in these positions for 'diversity' purposes rather than because they are the best person, and this does lead to resentment, specifically gender-based resentment, and this is a huge problem.

I think we just need to apply the MLK rules, judge candidates on an individual basis, no points for identity groups, no diversity bullshit, just merit. I don't resent taking orders from people that I trust are more qualified to be making the decisions, regardless of any identity category, and I am pissed when someone unqualified is telling me how to do my job
