Why another book on free speech? And what’s with the cartoons? I’ve been asked these questions many times in the weeks since the publication of my new book, Free Speech and Why You Should Give a Damn. And the best way to answer is with a story that appears in the book’s opening pages.

How much value does free speech have for barking dogs? This is the current situation for the vast majority of modern humanity who are too stupid to say anything of value, or even to understand anything said of value.

The Dunning-Krueger effect. You don't know nearly as much as you think you do. If you actually did, you'd realize that other people have a ton of smart things to say that you'd never think of. Even janitors and nurses.

I didn't say anything about myself so the Dunning-Kruger effect has no bearing on what I wrote.

Historically other people did have a ton of smart things to say, which is why I love history and read a lot of old books. Unfortunately this is not the case for modern people. As I have repeatedly pointed out, without rebuttal, modern people are depraved moronic scum. Hopefully natural selection will reassert itself and this will be corrected in the future.

Chipit is also the same user claiming "you're a far leftist", and that I'm just pretending to hold my current opinions.

I just scanned through several videos a day ago by a self-diagnosed "very mentally ill" leftist, who claims to teach fellow correct-thinkers how to infiltrate White Supremacist sites and communities, to dox and take them down. One of her fall back tactics 'when things get rough' is to accuse the 'White Supremacists' who are onto her agenda of being jews, leftists, cia, or some other such group.

Don't know if that's really what /u/Chipit is up to, but it did appear to mimic his tactics.

*The 'barking dog' analogy is both sadly apt, and kind of funny.
