Intriguingly, men and women converge in their answers when asked what percentage of men would be willing to commit rape. Women estimate that about one-third of men would commit rape if there were no consequences, and about one-third of men report that they would commit rape if they believed they could get away with it.

I'm not a feminist and never believed all men are rapists or anything of the sort. Probably look like a radfem because I'm sick of genderspecial bullshit and GC is one of the best places to get good discussion of it. I should have said 1/3rd of men have some explaining to do.

But back to that number, one third, really? Jesus. I've never thought about it but I wouldn't have put it so high.

I get that men want sex but I don't know, I would have thought those numbers were getting away with cheating or paying for prostitution or something scummy but not rape. I'm feeling like the feminists actually have a point for once.

If you didn't have that drummed into your head, I don't know what to tell you. It has long been a truism that 100% of men want to rape. Adjusting that number to 33% is a HUGE improvement.
