    No they haven't. When I was on Reddit, I used to read /r/TrueFilm where a lot of the regulars were in their 20s, and the cinephiles amongst them complained that their contemporaries don't even know who Scorsese is. So, no, most zoomers (unless they are serious horror fans/cinephiles) have definitely not seen Silence of the Lambs or any of the important/iconic 1990s films.
