He's a think tank propagandist.

The rich saw themselves as having avoided service in Vietnam not because they were more privileged or—heaven forbid—less brave, but because they were more decent.

How does he provide evidence for the increased relative decency argument?
10:1 odds it's based on a "seems to me" assessment.

The rest of the article is the propaganda women's/civil rights criticism that is avoids the Frankfurter school and the cultural Marxism aspects, and the very real increased public conscience for issues of traditional justice of equality (not to be confused with the recently hijacked "equity" version).

It's bullshit to stir up controversy. Zero factual research.
