Not sure what knowledge being power and corporations have to do with anything, but mining BTC with a workstation hasn't been viable in years. Not to mention mining as a background task in a web browser. This is essentially the cryptotab people organizing a volunteer botnet to mine BTC inefficiently for them.

Users get a free browser, use it for browsing. The organization gets free data, sells it for bitcoins.

That's not how this browser works, it mines bitcoins in the background. The user will pay more in electricity than the piddly btc they generate will be worth, not to mention it'll wear out the hardware in their machine faster. If you want to earn crypto for browsing, use Brave and collect BAT tokens for seeing an occasional ad.

How to clear my browsing data?

If you sync a type of data, deleting it on your computer will delete it everywhere it's synced. It'll be removed from other devices and your Google Account.

It has account synchronization.
