I figured out how to edit the main site configuration, by editing the development.update file, then running 'make ini' to make a new development.ini file.

It's how I changed the banner text, and reduced the time needed before gaining the ability to create a subreddit. Check it out: /r/newSubreddit

Also I changed the "archive" time to 9999 days instead of 180 days. I always hated how you couldn't comment or vote on old threads.

Nice! Yeah so we never need to edit example.ini, we just put whatever settings we need into development.update.

Also in development.update there's the setting "employees" where you can control who are admins, if you didn't see it.
