Yes, if you put it in simple terms and disregard the thousands of societies with different viewpoints, I guess what you say is true. But Luciferianism is light bearing Satanism, in that regard, Lucifer was a fallen angel, and not Satan, but a former watcher who fell. Luciferians beleive they can become God, Satanists and crowleyist practice is a little different but still Satanism for it advocated do thou what you will.
