A place to discuss the events of the end of the last Ice Age - its correlations between the "appearance" of civilization: animal domestication, agriculture, writing and construction, compared to the many structures dated to before or right after 12,800 years ago.

Graham Hancock's theory of cometary impact and Robert Schoch's theory of solar outburst are the only two current offerings with an acceptable amount of evidence and through cooperative work, we can perhaps piece together some more of the puzzle.

Topics up for discussion include:

  • Ice Age climate, flora or fauna,

  • Human cultures during or right after the end of the Ice Age,

  • Post-Ice Age sea level rise (Meltwater Pulse and Catastrophic Sea Level Rise Events),

  • World flood myths,

  • Archaeological discoveries dated before or soon after the theorized date of 12,800 years ago

  • Anything you feel is reasonably connected to this particular mystery.

This is not a general history conspiracy forum however, only a workspace for Ice Age flooding.

Off-topic or unconnected posts will be moved, closed or removed.

Abusive, harassing or other behaviour unbecoming of scholarly debate in good-faith will also be removed and may result in a ban.
