It'd be ebtter if it provided a way to disaplbe the backspace key only for cshort-term (long-term) (long-distance) edits, because that way it'd be easier to type and correct typos. Typing this, I've doinf that I do so (found) slower, beacause I'm not able to correct the typos that I make immediateyly. It'(IaAargch!

Luckily, the program's open-source, so you can modify it however you like.
