Well, it depends on what one sees worship as. If one sees worship as attempting to engage with something greater than themselves then no, but if one sees it as blind unquestioning adherence to a dogma in order to not have to self examine their emotional attachment to their own world view, then yes.

People worship the dogma of CNN, MSNBC, Fox, Democrats, Republicans, and authorities generally.
